External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Duncan Napier. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20100729123613/http://www.luath.co.uk:80/acatalog/Napier_s_History_of_Herbal_Healing.html to http://www.luath.co.uk/acatalog/Napier_s_History_of_Herbal_Healing.html/
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

Original Research
[edit]I have added an "Original Research" template, in reference to several citiations to letters in private collections. (But I have also taken the opportunity to add a reference to Eric Melvin's 2021 book about Napier.) Mike Marchmont (talk) 09:38, 17 January 2022 (UTC)
February 2022 edits
[edit]I have now rewritten large parts of this article. In doing so, my aims have been:
- To add further information about Napier's life and work.
- To reduce the information about the present Napier's business. This is only marginally connected with Napier himself.
- To replace the references to primary research (private collections, etc.) with references to verifiable sources.
- To improve the style and tone of the article.
I've also been able to provide some images to illustrate the article. Mike Marchmont (talk) 08:51, 9 February 2022 (UTC)
